In most cases a guard cannot act on his/her own if an event is in process. The guard is trained; his/her only action is to notify the proper authorities.
VGS operates in the same manner. When a professionally trained monitoring agent sees an event in progress, he/she contacts the proper authorities. Because the call is a verified event from a VGS monitoring agent, the call is a high priority call, and the event is recorded.
VGS can interact with audio - the alleged perpetrator quickly leaves the property never to return.
